Scribe is a piece of parafictional art. Machine learning, palaeography, transcription, composition and creative writing combine to create a fake medieval manuscript, music edition and composer and composer: “Marcel le Gan - Music for Three Voices: Marian Antiphons & settings of the Mass”. Created in collaboration with RNCM PRiSM and EXAUDI vocal ensemble, Scribe speaks to issues of how AI technologies impact musical creativity, and scrutinises the early music genre as a discipline.
